New Smoking Regulations at Taylor’s Lakeside Campus Effective 1st January 2025 

In compliance with Malaysia’s Act 852 – Control of Smoking Products for Public Health Act 2024, new smoking regulations will take effect on 1st January 2025. These regulations are designed to promote a healthier and safer environment for all students, staff, residents, and visitors of Taylor’s Lakeside Campus, including patrons of Syopz Mall.  

Key Updates:

– Smoking is strictly prohibited outside the designated smoking areas. This includes cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vapes, and any other smoking products. 

– Smoking zones within the campus have been redesignated.  

– Individuals found smoking in non-designated areas may face warnings and fines.

– Behind Block C

–  Zone H

We kindly urge everyone to adhere to these guidelines and use the designated smoking zones. Together, we can foster a cleaner, healthier, and more comfortable campus environment for everyone.

• Location: The bays are at LG1, 15b basement car park (marked in pink and black, next to the car park office).
• Usage: Charging is managed via the ChargeN’Go app. Simply download the ChargeN’Go app, register, choose your station or tap your EV card, plug in, and start charging with ease!
• Idle Fee: Users will be notified via the app when their vehicle is fully charged. A 20-minute grace period is provided, and if the vehicle is not removed, an idle fee of 20 cents per minute will apply.
